TERMS and CONDITIONS
50% deposit is required upon confirmation of a reservation. The balance is due no later than 30 days before date of departure. Reservations made within 30 days of departure must be accompanied by full payment. Ants Events & Tours CC reserves the right to cancel a tour in the event of these requirements not being met. Payment may be made directly into the bank account of Ants Events & Tours cc (Details provided with invoice). Cash in ZAR or foreign currencies (US Dollars, British Pounds and Euro) and Credit cards are accepted. A 5% discount on the tour price may be granted for cash payments or electronic account payments.
Tour prices
Prices, routes, places of interest, restaurants and service providers are subject to change without prior notice. Although no minimum passengers/tourists are required for any tour, a surcharge is applicable for one person. A tour price is valid until the date reflected on the quotation. Should the validity period lapse, the tour price may be adjusted to allow for possible increases in contracted services.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be in writing and notification will be deemed effective from the date of receipt of such written request.
The following cancellation fees will apply:
30+ days before departure = 25%
30 - 15 days before departure = 50%
Less than 15 days before departure = 100%
Variation or waiver of these conditions is at the sole discretion of Ants Events & Tours CC.
Refunds
In the event that the customer/tourist should cancel any of the services
or products packaged or arranged by Ants Events & Tours CC during
the tour, no refunds will be paid.
Changes and delays to tours
Ants Events & Tours CC reserves the right to change any item on
an itinerary (destination, route, venues) route, place of interest,
accommodation or destination without prior notice and/or arrangement
due to delays
prior to departure, road or weather conditions or any unforeseen circumstances
beyond our control.
Transfers:
Prices are quoted as One-Way and must be confirmed. Drivers will wait a maximum
of 60 minutes from the scheduled time of arrival, after which time this will
be considered a 'no show' and will be charged as such. 'No shows' will be charged
the full transfer price applicable and will be for the account of the customer.
If a booking is cancelled, less than 24 hours before pick-up time, the full
transfer price will be charged.
Tour times
Departure and arrival times are approximate.
Tour guides Professional
South African Tourism approved and registered tour guides are employed.
Smoking
In accordance with the Republic of South Africa’s
relevant legislation no smoking is permitted in vehicles and public
areas. Provision will
be made for smoke-breaks whilst travelling.
Accountability
Neither Ants Events & Tours CC, nor
any of its contractors or service providers accepts responsibility for
any loss or damage suffered by a
passenger in respect of personal injury death, loss or damage to property
as a result of incidents beyond our reasonable control, including but
without limiting the generality of the foregoing, illness, weather conditions,
industrial labour disputes, political or civil unrest and war.
Should Ants Events & Tours CC or any of its contractors or service providers deem it necessary to cancel or alter the content of a tour itinerary or part thereof because of an incident not arising from negligence but relating to circumstances in the afore mentioned paragraph, any loss or expense incurred from such cancellation or alternation shall be borne by the client.
Upon acceptance of a tour, the client shall be deemed to have conceded and forfeited any claim, wilful negligence or a wilful act or omission excluded, which the client may be entitled to under provisions of the jurisdiction and prevailing law of the Republic of South Africa.
Liability
All tours are undertaken in accordance with
the Standard Terms and Conditions of Ants Events & Tours CC. Ants Events & Tours CC, nor any person/institution
acting on behalf of Ants Events & Tours CC shall be liable for any
loss, damage, injury, accident, delay and inconvenience whatsoever to
any person, or his/her luggage or personal property, in respect of person
or property, arising from any cause. Please consult a medical practitioner
before embarking on a tour to a malaria prone area. Ants Events and Tours
CC will not be held liable for customers not taking adequate medical
precautions. Please consult your doctor before embarking on any tour
or event.
Insurance
Passengers/tourist/clients must make arrangements for adequate insurance
cover. It is recommended that visitors ensure that they have adequate
cover for baggage, personal accident, medical insurance and loss of deposit
through cancellation.
Jurisdiction
In all matters where it is deemed necessary to have legal recourse,
the Courts of the Republic of South Africa shall have sole jurisdiction
and the prevailing law of the Republic of South Africa shall prevail.

are trademarks of ANTS Events and Tours CC and may not be used without
the express written permission
of Ants Events and Tours CC management.
